Idealist Education Fair in Portland
In October 2012 members of staff from the IOE, Amy Stapleton from
the Doctoral School and Professor Dominic Wyse, Professor of Early
Childhood and Primary Education visited the West Coast of the United
States and attended a number of Idealist Education Fairs in LA, San
Francisco, Seattle and Portland.
In addition Professor Dominic Wyse gave a lecture on the teaching of
English, language and literacy within Early Years Education at UCLA and
presented a research project on place related identity through texts at
California State University.

Embassy’s July 4 holiday reception to promote higher education in the
